Well planned HR Strategies Are Key to Organizational Success

In the dynamic business environment experienced today, effective human resource management has turned out to be a central determinant of organizational success, a properly planned strategy in HR represents general objectives of the business and helps enhance workforce productivity and engagement.

First, strategic workforce planning empowers organizations to predict future hiring requirements in light of achieving business goals. By analyzing the trends and forecasting the skills required, the human resource professional is able to ensure that the organization has the right talents at the right time as indicated by Collings & Mellahi (2009). This approach secures and promotes a culture of preparedness while at the same time minimizing talent scarcity.

Employee development and investment is important. Firms that invest in continuous learning tend to have employees who are highly satisfied and stick longer with the organizations. A study by McKinsey confirms that those firms which invest in training their employees are more likely than others to outcompete their respective competitors in terms of productivity and profitability.

Furthermore, effective communication and feedback mechanisms play an important role. In other words, frequent followups and performance review talks promote a transparent working environment in which the employees feel valued and understood. This engagement is linked with higher levels of motivation and better organizational outcomes.

Wellplanned HR strategy does more than just add and retain highly qualified people it propels organizational success. Organizations will be able to face an ever

changing environment by addressing challenges and leveraging opportunities through attention to workforce planning, employee development, and effective communication.
